I’m an experienced professional photographer based in Manhattan, Kansas, about 30 minutes from my hometown, Abilene (boyhood home of President Dwight Eisenhower).

After picking up a camera as a teenager, I have known exactly what I wanted to do: make great photographs. Since then, I've made stops at newspapers across Kansas and California. I served as University Photographer for Kansas State University, my alma mater for more than 6 years before launching this new adventure.

I love the outdoors and have wandered the world a bit and am lucky to live in the heart of the beautiful Flint Hills. Over the last 25 years, I've photographed a wide variety of subjects from U.S. Presidents to prairie chickens; small town football to K-State championship games; and rural farmers doing their part to feed the world.

Along the way I've been lucky enough to marry a wonderful woman and we've been blessed with two great kids. I am thankful.

I love what I do. Whether I’m in the fields shooting a summer storm, highlighting the rich details of gourmet food, or creating signature portraits, I’m most at home with a camera in my hands capturing the images of a lifetime.

Your story is important; I'd love to help you tell it.
